About Appeartex
Appeartex was founded by the entrepreneur Lars Schönemyr, 2003, in collaboration with Chalmers Innovation and has since its inception worked closely with the Scientific Advisory Board, consisting of highly prominent Swedish researchers. We have developed a solution to bacteria-related problems, based on a non-leaching, but still very effective and universally applicable technology.
Appeartex has established collaborations with industrial partners for customer applications and manufacturing. Appeartex technology can be used in many materials and applications where you do not want bacteria.
Distribution
AmphoChem AB is our distributor in the Nordic countries. AmphoChem is also an important distributor of products to the cleaning industry.
AmphoChem has warehouse and distribution for Appeartex of finished formulations and concentrates.
Business Model
- Appeartex focuses primarily on business to business, delivering ready-made concentrates. We can also offer a licence to use the technology.
- Appeartex also offers testing opportunities - both for:
- Optimization of Appeartex chemistry on customer products
- Bacterial testing of formulations to determine the disinfection effect on bacteria
- Appeartex works closely with customers to achieve the best possible way to meet specific demands for function and performance.
- Appeartex can also offer a complete concept for the production of wet wipes, where customers can use their own label.
